3rd International Occupational & Environmental Diseases Congress was held from 3rd – 7th March 2019 at Antalya, Turkey ( www.oedc2019.org )
Conference was organized by Biocidal Occupational & Environmental Health Association and Ministry of Health, Republic of Turkey and supported by ICOH Scientific Committees – SC Rural Health, SC Mining OSH, SC Toxicology & SC Education & Training in OH.
Congress Chair was Prof. Muhsin Akbaba from Cukurova University, Turkey and Congress Co Chair was Prof. Claudio Colosio from University of Milan.
From ICOH Scientific Committees, Prof. Claudio Colosio, Prof. Gert van der Laan and Prof. Frank van Dijk were among the Organizing Committee members. Prof. Marija Bubas, Dr. Erik Jors, Prof. Jinky Lu, Kate Jones and Prof. Silvia Fustinoni were among the Scientific Committee members and Dr. Sashikala Chandrasekar from SC Rural Health was one of the Organizing Secretaries.
About 220 Delegates from Turkey and about 20 international speakers participated in the Conference.
From ICOH Prof. Claudio Colosio and Prof. Pierluigi Cocco were the keynote speakers.
Prof. Claudio Colosio and Prof. Gert van der Laan chaired the SC Rural Health session and were also the speakers along with Dr. Sashikala Chandrasekar and Dr. Karolina Lyubomirova.
Prof. Frank Van Dijk and Prof. Marija Bubas chaired the SC Education & Training in OH session and were the speakers along with Dr. Davide Bosio and Dr. Ferdi Tanir.
Dr. Erik Jors and Dr. Doolotova chaired SC MinOSH session and were the speakers with Dr. Isik.
Dr.G.Tranfo and Dr. S. Cetintepe chaired SC Occupational Toxicology session and were the speakers with Prof. Gert van der Laan and and Dr. Basaran.
Prof. Claudio Colosio chaired the session on General view of OH and was also a speaker in a session on Evaluation of external OHS services.
Prof. Gert van der Laan chaired another session on MSD in high risk sectors and the speakers were Dr. Pompiani, Dr. Tabanska and Dr. Federica Masci.
Representatives from WHO, ILO, FAO, health and allied departments from Ministry of Health, Republic of Turkey and speakers from many Institutions from Turkey also addressed the delegates in various sessions.
